MICRO-TEACHING PRESENTATION

 MICRO TEACHING PRESENTATIONS

The elaboration of the lesson plan for this Macro Teaching has been a challenge.  I have to recognize that it is new for me. So I encourage myself to master the techniques in preparing lesson plans to teach English .

This is the key for the productivity of the class and leave behind the boring classes.

Reflection about: Empowering English teachers to grapple with errors in grammar. By Mei Lin Ho.

Ms. Linares and Class:

The reflection for this week is about the grammatical errors that students make in their writing when they are learning a language.  Years ago errors were considered like problems in the learning process, but with this approach that is proposed, errors could be considered like advantages to recognize the significance of errors which occur in their writing. Selinker (1992) explains that errors are indispensable to learners since the making of errors can be regarded as ‘a device the learner uses in order to learn’.

This Approach consist in the classification of errors across identifying, defining a classifying errors, explaining errors and general gains on a personal level. So in this way we can take the opportunity to reinforce the knowledge of rules of the language to learn.

 Thanks,

Micro Teaching Presentations

Dear Teacher and Classmates,

Before the micro teaching presentation I felt nervous about it, because teaching is not easy but, the presentation was a nice experiencie, I learned that  we need to check if everything is ok before to present a lesson plan and we might to follow it. We need to be careful organizing  the activities and the time is very important, because we have to cover the objectives detailed in the lesson plan.

See you soon
